Events

North East Wales Wildlife holds a full programme of events throughout the year, wildlife talks and wildlife walks, organized on a seasonal basis.

Non-members, friends and relatives are always welcome.

Autumn / Winter 2008 Events

Wildlife Talks

Talks are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm in the Hawkesbury Centre, Buckley, unless advised otherwise.

Wildlife Walks

These family walks are between 4 and 6 miles in length and generally take 4 hours to complete, which includes a break for lunch. They take place on the 4th Sunday in each month, commencing at 10:00am. For information contact the Chairman or the specified walk leader.

Walkers are asked, where possible, to car share to make car parking easier

Walk - around Llanarmon-yn-Ial. The 6.25 mile walk will take us onto the mountains of the Clwydian Range for views over the Vale of Clwyd and Flintshire. With the return walk passing Gweryd Lake.

Llwyni Clean Up - this volunteering event forms part of the Llwyni Live and Learn project to increase environmental awareness and appreciation of green space in the area. The cleanup operation will be followed by a visit to recycling centre and the creation of a sculpture from recycled materials.
