Membership

The Group has a thriving membership with many benefits.

Annual Membership for the group is:

£8 for single membership

£12 for family membership

Walks

On the 4th. Sunday of every month we organise a walk in the North East Wales area which lasts approximately 4 hours, 10.00am - 2.00pm.
The walk is not strenuous and we also have time for a refreshment break.

Trips

Twice a year we try and have a day trip by coach, usually on a Saturday to various places of interest. Past places have included Hilbre Island, Conway RSPB Bird Reserve, South Stack Anglesey, and trip to Mid Wales to see the Red Kites.

Talks

On the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7.30p.m.in the Hawksbury Centre in Buckley, Wildlife talks are held and guest speakers are invited. Afterwards, there is the opportunity to chat over a cup of tea/coffee.

Volunteering opportunities

We have volunteer days on our reserves where people can help out in many different ways e.g. tree planting, bramble bashing or pond clearing.  To find out more about these opportunities contact our Volunteer Officer, Remani Jones on 01352 742115 or email volunteer@newwildlife.org.uk.

Our newsletter goes out 3 times a year, packed with lots of information about the local area, about wildlife conservation and included in it is a diary of our activities.

Membership fees make a small but significant contribution together with other funding to help further our aim:

to help improve the local enviroment for people and wildlife.
