Llwyni Nature Reserve

This large reserve consists of a mosaic of habitats including grassland, woodland and ponds. It is located in a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and SAC (Special Area of Conservation), and is home to a variety of wildlife including badgers, bats, newts and owls. Due to the size of the reserve it has been split into sections, some of which are owned and managed by NEWW, and some are owned and managed by Flintshire County Council.
